Kangana Ranaut, known to be one of the most straightforward celebrities, is being lashed out by the Punjabi celebrities including Gippy Grewal, Ammy Virk, Jazzy B, Himanshi Khurana among the others for ‘shameful’ comments on farmers protest against the 2020 farm laws. Kangana quoted a tweet in which they saw old aged women marching towards Delhi. She wrote: “Ha ha ha, she’s the same dadi who featured in Time magazine for the most powerful Indian… And she’s available for 100 rupees.” Pakistani journalists have hijacked international PR for India in an embarrassing way. We need our own people to speak for us internationally.
The tweet received anger from people as they found it “shameful.”
“Gippy Grewal, a Punjabi singer, tweeted: “Shame on you Kangana for say something so abrupt without checking the facts and basic information. Hope that you well soon and be able to look into the situation without any prejudice. It’s the matter of the motherland to n ot only farmers but every Indian that includes you too.

Himanshi Khurana wrote: “According to you government se security mang lo par haq nahi hmmm.”
“Chalo ab difference nahi raha app me or Bollywood me. Kyuki apke a ccording to apke saath galt hua tha to shayad app zada connect kar paati farmers se. “She added, “Chahe wo galt ya sahi but ye sab dictatorship se km nahi.
“Jaise aapko apni baat kehna ka haqq hai Inhein bhi hai. Sargun Mehta wrote, ‘Bass farak yeh hai ki aap bina baat aur maksad ke bolti hain aur yeh apne haqq ke liye ladd rahein hain.’
Farmers have protested against the Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act 2020.
