Irrfan Khan Returns to Mumbai . Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan was in London from quite some time now owing to his tumour treatment. But he recently returned to Mumbai and was spotted by the shutterbugs at the airport. Irrfan, who was sitting in a wheelchair, immediately covered his face with a mask and a cap from the paparazzi. Irrfan broke the news of his tumour in March last year via a tweet, and had flown to London for his treatment. On the professional front, Irrfan will next be seen in ‘Angrezi Medium,’ which is a sequel to his surprise hit ‘Hindi Medium’.
Irrfan Khan Returns to Mumbai . In a film career spanning almost thirty years and featuring in more than fifty domestic films, Khan has received numerous awards, including a National Film Award and Filmfare Awards in four categories.
Film critics, contemporaries and other experts consider him to be one of the finest actors in Indian cinema for his versatile and natural acting.
In 2011, he was awarded the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian honour for his contribution to the field of arts.

In March 2018, Irrfan Khan first announced that he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and four months after that he revealed that he’s been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour. Irrfan was treated for neuroendocrine tumour abroad and he returned to India for good in February 2019. He briefly visited India for Diwali and took off again to continue the treatment.
